Betty Buckley is one of only a few women referred to as a true Broadway legend. Her 1969 first New York audition landed her a principal role in the Broadway musical 1776. Since then, she won the coveted Tony Award for her portrayal of Grizabella in Cats and has appeared in countless Broadway shows, including Sunset Boulevard, Gypsy, Song and Dance and Pippin. An accomplished actor, singer and three-time Grammy Award nominee, Buckley has also starred in television and film.
Since her debut, she has enchanted audiences worldwide with her masterful interpretation of a vast and eclectic repertoire. Alongside her longtime friend, collaborator and jazz pianist Kenny Werner, Betty Buckley commands the stage with her powerful voice, her presence and her ability to tell a story. An evening with Betty Buckley is one you’ll always remember.
