Camp All Star

Ages:  entering grades 4–6
Session I:  June 20–24
               June 27–July 1

$535 per session, $400 Discounted Member Rate

Calling all sports fanatics: we have the camp for you! Camp All Star is packed with sports instruction, swimming, adventure and fun. Take advantage of the 16th Street J's many sports spaces while improving your skills in basketball, soccer, swimming and more. Then twice a week, hit the road to experience all the sports DC has to offer. Trips include? 

 

  • Nationals Game
  • Mini Golf/Batting Cages
  • Indoor Rock Climbing
  • Laser Tag

 

Camp Skate

Ages:  entering grades 2–6
Session III:  July 18–29 

 $1,260 per session, $960 Discounted Member Rate

 

Some of the smartest campers are the ones that head for the ice when the summer heats up. 

  • Join your friends at the Fort Dupont Ice Arena (FDIA) for figure skating or hockey
  • This is the District’s best summer camp that combines morning trips to the rink with afternoons of swimming instruction, arts, crafts, sports or field trips
  • Try hockey if you’re looking to combine team sports and ice; we offer beginner and intermediate hockey instruction
  • Beginning skaters will learn basic glide techniques, stops, backwards skating and turns
  • Intermediate and more advanced skaters will build on these skills, learning crossovers, T-stops, skating on inside and outside edges and skating with more power
  • Play an exhibition game or perform a skating routine to show off your skills to your parents!  

 

 

 

 

LEGO® Camp
 

Ages:  entering grades K - 1 and 2 - 6
Session II:  July 11–15

 

 $535 per session, $400 Discounted Member Rate

 

Do you love taking things apart to try and figure out how they work? Do you love building with LEGO®s? Then this camp was made for you. Campers will spend half the day working with the experts from
Play-Well TEKnologies (play-well.org) to design and build LEGO®s projects. Anything from buildings and bridges to cars that really move, your imagination is the limit! During the other half of your day, when
you are not with the LEGO®s masters, you will enjoy all of the other wonderful things that the 16th Street J has to offer, including:

  • Art, music, cooking, drama, science, sports
    and more

  • Swim lessons and free swim time
