Some of the smartest campers are the ones that head for the ice when the summer heats up.
- Join your friends at the Fort Dupont Ice Arena (FDIA) for figure skating or hockey
- This is the District’s best summer camp that combines morning trips to the rink with afternoons of swimming instruction, arts, crafts, sports or field trips
- Try hockey if you’re looking to combine team sports and ice; we offer beginner and intermediate hockey instruction
- Beginning skaters will learn basic glide techniques, stops, backwards skating and turns
- Intermediate and more advanced skaters will build on these skills, learning crossovers, T-stops, skating on inside and outside edges and skating with more power
- Play an exhibition game or perform a skating routine to show off your skills to your parents!
