MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DAY OF SERVICE

This year, 200 volunteers celebrated the legacy of Martin Luther King by making their day OFF a day ON. We spent the day painting and restoring two Southeast district schools: Turner and Ferebee-Hope. Thank you for volunteering with us.

 

SPRING INTO ACTION

CAMP YAD B'YAD: HAND IN HAND WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE
June 16-June 27, 2008
Our camp is an amazing sampler of the needs of the community and how one can help by cooking, feeding, playing, organizing, and building.

 

EVERYTHING...BUT THE TURKEY
November 24 & 26, 2008

This Thanksgiving Community Service Feast feeds 10,000 homeless people living in local shelters.

 

DECEMBER 25TH DAY OF SERVICE
December 25, 2008

More than 1,000 volunteers of all ages and religious backgrounds will serve meals to the homeless, entertain seniors and children, give blood and paint homeless shelters on this Day of Service.
