Safe and Sound: March 23
As the tragedies in Haiti and Chile have reminded us, in times of crisis, many people turn to their local houses of worship for both physical and spiritual relief. Prepare your congregation to respond in-case of a local disaster. Learn about the risk profile for our area and create a disaster response plan for your congregation.
Join us on March 23 for a 2-part training (full or half day) opportunity to prepare your congregation or non-profit agency**. Clergy, Staff, Lay-leaders and Emergency planning teams are welcome.
Why should leaders of houses of worship be concerned about a local disaster and what difference would it make to take steps to prepare congregation members and leadership?
These two hands-on sessions will give you the tools to take back to your congregation or non-profit agency to help you turn your sanctuary of prayer into a sanctuary for safety. To learn more and to register click here.
**Though this seminar is geared towards local Faith-based agencies the information is relevant to any organization that our community would engage in a disaster.
